- Make sure you soak your ear(s) in warm water that has sea salt in it for about 8 to 10 minutes. You should put 2 tea spoons into a shot glass, then fill it up with HOT water. let it sit till it gets a little cooler, then soak your ear in it. What I also found helpful is to add 1 tea spoon of epson salt in the warm sea salt water.
- After your done you should massage your ear(s) with a gauging balm or one of the other oils I mentioned in my last post.
- After about a week or so when your ear(s) feel better, and you can move them around you should take them out and clean your jewelery and your ear(s).
- You should repeat the first 2 steps 3 times a day till your ear(s) are healed.

This post is going to tell you How To stretch your ears. Ear stretching is a body modification and should be take seriously and done responsibly. On that note here's how to start. (PLEASE use metal tapers and jewelry to start every stretching)
- You should first get your ears pierced by a professional at a piercing shop, then wait about 2 months to heal before stretching. Everyones different so if your ears aren't healed after that don't try to stretch them. I would also suggest to soak them in sea salt and water to help the healing process.
- Once your ready to start stretching, You should first clean your tapers and plugs or tunnels by putting them in a cup with hydrogen peroxide and leave it soaking for about 10 to 20 minutes. Then afterwards take them out and rinse them in warm water. Now your ready to start! Make sure you wash your hands with antibacterial soap (Dial liquid soap is a good brand to use)after you rinse the tapers and plugs.
- You should start the stretching process after taking a shower because your ear are soft and they have more elasticity, which makes it easier to stretch.
- You should lubricate your taper with stretching balm (Gauge Gear is a company on Amazon.com and their balm is 100% organic and it helps your ear heal faster. It's what I use and I highly recommend it!) or you can also use Jojoba oil or break open a Vitamin E capsule and use the oil in it. Vitamin E oil is also very good.
- Once the taper is lubricated push the taper in as far as it will go easily, give it a twist and push then stop. This should only be slightly painful. Go slowly and stop, if you experience a lot of pain or if you start seeing blood, then leave the taper in the ear and wait for the ear to settle before continuing. This may take a few hours or a few days depending on the person.
- Once you got the taper through follow it with your jewlery. Make sure it's only a single flare or a no flare plugs until your ear is fully healed.

First Time Stretching My Ears
So on my last post I showed you what all came in my Ear Stretching Kit. I wanted to document step by step on me stretching my ears, but I was really excited when I got the kit that I already started.
First I started with a 16G and that went through pretty easy no pain or discomfort. Then I decided to go to a 14G since I had no plug to put in and my ears felt fine. The 14G went through pretty easily too, with no discomfort or pain. So I decided to stretch it more, so I tryed a 12G. It went through pretty easily too, but I felt a little discomfort. Since my lowest plug was a 10G I decided to go up one more size. So I went on to stretch it to a 10G. This one actually hurt a little and it was a pain in the a** to get the plug in. My ears didn't hurt to bad, it just felt like I got my ears pierced all over again. I really dont recommend anyone doing what I did because 2 days later my ear got very inflamed and infected. It just got uninfected and uninflamed a few days ago. This is what they look lke now.
I'll make a post later on How To take care of infected piercings.

Here's what all came in the kit. 14G - 00G Metal Tapers, 10G - 00G Metal Tunnels, 6G - 00G Pink Plastic Tunnels, a Hot To Stretch Your Ears card, and 100% Organic Ear Stretching Balm.

I also got separately a 16G Taper because I wasn't sure what size my ears were. I got my ears pierced at Claire's and they use a piercing gun, which I guess isn't good because I guess the piercing can come out crooked. Anyways I got a plastict 16G Taper.
These tapers are actually really small. I've never actually seen one so when they came I was really surprised. If you've never seen one. This is how small they are...
