This post is going to tell you How To stretch your ears. Ear stretching is a body modification and should be take seriously and done responsibly. On that note here's how to start. (PLEASE use metal tapers and jewelry to start every stretching)
- You should first get your ears pierced by a professional at a piercing shop, then wait about 2 months to heal before stretching. Everyones different so if your ears aren't healed after that don't try to stretch them. I would also suggest to soak them in sea salt and water to help the healing process.
- Once your ready to start stretching, You should first clean your tapers and plugs or tunnels by putting them in a cup with hydrogen peroxide and leave it soaking for about 10 to 20 minutes. Then afterwards take them out and rinse them in warm water. Now your ready to start! Make sure you wash your hands with antibacterial soap (Dial liquid soap is a good brand to use)after you rinse the tapers and plugs.
- You should start the stretching process after taking a shower because your ear are soft and they have more elasticity, which makes it easier to stretch.
- You should lubricate your taper with stretching balm (Gauge Gear is a company on Amazon.com and their balm is 100% organic and it helps your ear heal faster. It's what I use and I highly recommend it!) or you can also use Jojoba oil or break open a Vitamin E capsule and use the oil in it. Vitamin E oil is also very good.
- Once the taper is lubricated push the taper in as far as it will go easily, give it a twist and push then stop. This should only be slightly painful. Go slowly and stop, if you experience a lot of pain or if you start seeing blood, then leave the taper in the ear and wait for the ear to settle before continuing. This may take a few hours or a few days depending on the person.
- Once you got the taper through follow it with your jewlery. Make sure it's only a single flare or a no flare plugs until your ear is fully healed.
